I think that with the growth of internet that people do more collecting and sorting that actually looking at them images. Before Internet began to get really big people use to go to art shows to see the work and that meant they actually looked at it. Now with the Internet most people have multiple pages up and have other things going on around them. Many people glance at the image and go on to the next. People do not admire the work like they use to. Some people the only images that they see are on advertisements and they do not think about the work that have been put into it just that is a billboard or pop up. The Internet has increased the accessibility to get to see the images but I think that people abuse it. Instead of really looking at the images in person they would rather pull it up on a web page and look at it. The person that looks at it does not get other people’s opinion on the work. They do not think about the real meaning that the image is to convey. Many people just look at the physical things in the image when they glance at it. If they would take the time to look at it and really analyze that the photographer is thinking when they take the picture they would understand the work more. I believe that the internet will keep growing and collecting and sorting will become more popular than looking at them images.
